Honeycomb grid

Honeycomb grid is a new type of material structure which is widely used in traffic, water conservancy, municipal, garden, water and soil conservation projects in recent years. Honeycomb grid is a kind of low-carbon high galvanized steel wire with corrosion resistance, wear resistance and high strength or 5% aluminum zinc rare earth alloy coated steel wire (or homogeneous coated polymer steel wire) mechanically woven into a five hinged and hexagonal mesh. The length of the double hinged part shall not be less than 5cm, so as not to damage the protective coating of the steel wire. Honeycomb grid can be assembled into boxes and cages according to the engineering design requirements, and connected into a whole after loading block stones and other filling materials. It is used as a new technology for embankment, subgrade protection and other projects.

The mesh is made of low-carbon steel wire which is annealed and hot-dip galvanized or hot-dip plated with 5% aluminum zinc rare earth alloy. For the sake of engineering safety, experimental materials without international standards, such as 10% aluminum zinc alloy coated steel wire, must not be used. If a layer of PVC or PE is coated on the surface of low-carbon high galvanized or 5% aluminum zinc rare earth alloy steel wire (other polymers must not be used), the finished structure will be more rustproof, antistatic, anti-aging, corrosion-resistant, high compression resistance, high shear resistance and other characteristics, and can effectively resist the corrosion of seawater or highly polluted environment.

Mesh size: 6 × 8cm、8 × 10cm、10 × 12cm、12 × 15cm、16 × 18cm、15 × 15cm、18*22cm、22*27cm

Wire diameter: 2.0-4.0mm (Note: in order to strengthen the stability of the mesh itself, the edge wire should be 1mm larger than the mesh wire)

The size of cage is generally 4*1*1m, 2*1*1m, 1*1*1m, etc

The sizes of mesh mats are generally 6*2*0.3m, 5*2*0.23m, 4*2*0.17m, etc

Honeycomb grid material: low carbon steel wire surface treatment

1. galvanizing. The maximum zinc content is 10g/m2. Poor corrosion resistance

2. hot galvanizing. The maximum zinc content can reach 300g/m2. Strong corrosion resistance

3. PVC coated. The thickness of plastic coating is generally 1.0mm, for example, 2.7mm is 3.7mm after coating, with strong corrosion resistance

4. golfan (zinc aluminum alloy). Such steel is divided into two materials, Zinc-5% aluminum mixed rare earth alloy steel wire and zinc-10% aluminum mixed rare earth alloy steel wire. Super corrosion resistance, zinc content 350-550g/m2
