Lead wire Gabion

Lead wire gabion, also known as lead wire gabion, gabion net, is a net box made of angular net (hexagonal net) woven by metal wires.

The lead wire cage is made of low-carbon steel wire with high corrosion resistance, high strength and ductility or steel wire coated with pvc/pe by mechanical weaving. The box structure made of this net is the lead wire cage. According to the Executive Standards of yb/t4190-2018 and en10223-3, the diameter of low carbon steel wire used varies according to the engineering design requirements. Generally, it is between 2.0-4.0mm, the tensile strength of the lead wire cage steel wire is between 35-50kg/ ㎡, the weight of the metal coating is generally higher than 245g/m2, and the diameter of the edge line of the lead wire cage mesh is generally larger than the diameter of the mesh line.

Material classification of lead wire cage:

1. galvanized steel wire: high-quality low-carbon steel wire with a diameter of 2.0mm-4.0mm and a tensile strength of not less than 350Mpa. The surface of the steel wire is protected by hot galvanizing. The thickness of the galvanized protective layer is made according to the customer's requirements, and the maximum amount of galvanizing can reach 500g/m2.

2. zinc -5% aluminum mixed rare earth alloy steel wire: (also known as golfan) steel wire, which is a new and emerging material in the world in recent years, has corrosion resistance more than three times that of traditional pure galvanizing. The diameter of the steel wire can reach 2.0mm-4.0mm, and the tensile strength of the steel wire is not less than 350Mpa.

3. galvanized steel wire wrapped with plastic: high-quality low-carbon steel wire, wrapped with a layer of PVC protective layer on the surface of the steel wire, and then woven into hexagonal nets of various specifications. This PVC protective layer will greatly increase the protection in the highly polluted environment, and through the selection of different colors, it can be integrated with the surrounding environment.

4. Zinc-5% aluminum mixed rare earth alloy steel wire wrapped with plastic: a layer of PVC protective layer is wrapped on the surface of Zinc-5% aluminum mixed rare earth alloy steel wire, and then woven into hexagonal nets of various specifications. This PVC protective layer will greatly increase the protection in the highly polluted environment, and through the selection of different colors, it can be integrated with the surrounding environment.

Application of lead wire Gabion

1. When the dam pier of the river project is impacted by the top of the big slide, and the scattered stones may be washed away, the lead wire cage shall be thrown for emergency protection, so as to protect the underwater root stone slope and prevent the rapid slide, washing and missing.

2. It should be used in the middle and upper part of the root stone with a certain foundation. Because the root stone at the bottom (less than 5m) is lost, it is smaller than the middle and upper part.

3. Generally, it should be used at the steep concave where the root stone collapses, not on the flat slope.
